Control surveys establish a common, consistent network of physical monuments that are the basis for the horizontal and vertical location of existing and proposed infrastructure. Supplemental control surveys are a densification of the outlying control network. Control surveys form the base platform for existing preconstruction mapping, planning, engineering, construction and post construction as-built surveying and mapping. All control surveys are performed in compliance with published standard specifications.
